Rubber Ducky Baby Shower Invite

July 21, 2011

My cousin-in-law's cousin is having a baby boy. She asked me to do her invitations for the baby shower. She didn't have any special requests but knew she wanted the invitations to be in the shape of a bottle or pacifier. I decided to make bottle shaped invitations with a rubber duck theme. To save money, I used paint chips. Luckily, I have the Doodlecharms Cricut cartridge so I was able to cut out the bottle and ducks easily. I also decided to add some yellow ribbon so it didn't look so plain.
I think I took all the blue paint chips at Wal-Mart! I used a couple different shades.
Here's the stack of invites before I added the ribbon.
(50 invitations to hand out & 1 for the mommy to scrap!)
Sorry, the picture is so blurry! I need to work on my photography skills!
I forgot to take a picture of the back of the invite, but here's a screen print!

Congratulations Leslie!
